What data is processed
Server logs
The site is hosted on Netlify. The provider stores technical log data such as IP address, browser type, operating system and the address of the requested page. This data is used solely to ensure the availability and security of the service. The legal basis is legitimate interest.
Fonts
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts. This means your browser connects to Google's servers and your IP address is transmitted to Google. We have no control over how Google processes this data.
Contact form
The site has a form for sending messages. The form collects your name, email address and the content of your message. This data is processed solely in order to reply to your enquiry. The legal basis is the consent you give when submitting the form.
The form is processed by Netlify (Netlify Forms). Messages are stored in Netlify's service and forwarded to the operator's email. The data is kept for as long as handling the matter requires and is deleted afterwards. You can request deletion of your message at any time by writing to info@nordfind.eu.
The form includes a hidden field to prevent spam. It collects no information about the user.
Email contact
If you contact us by email, your message is processed in order to handle your enquiry. The addresses info@nordfind.eu and en@nordfind.eu are forwarding addresses that redirect to the operator's personal email. Messages are kept only as long as handling the matter requires.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 for visitor analytics. It tracks, at a general level, how many people visit, where they arrive from and which pages they view. The data is used to improve the site and is not used to identify individual people.
Analytics cookies are set only if you give consent in the cookie notice at the bottom of the page. Before consent, Google Analytics sets no cookies and collects no data. If you decline, no analytics are used at all. The legal basis is consent, which you can withdraw by clearing your browser's stored data for this site.
The analytics provider is Google Ireland Limited, and data may be transferred outside the EU. Transfers rely on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
The site also contains links to partner shops. When you follow a link to a partner's site, that shop or the affiliate network it uses may set a cookie in your browser so that a purchase can be attributed to the visit referred from this site. These cookies are set only once you leave this site and are not under NORDFIND's control. The partner shops' own privacy policies apply to them.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not affect the operation of this site.
Disclosure and transfer of data
We do not sell, rent or disclose data to third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be transferred outside the EU and EEA to the extent that the service providers we use operate in those regions. Such transfers rely on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Retention period
Server logs are retained according to the provider's practice, typically for no more than a few months. Email messages are kept for as long as handling the enquiry requires.
Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to:
- find out whether personal data concerning you is being processed
- request access to that data and its rectification or erasure
- object to processing or request its restriction
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
Requests should be sent by email to info@nordfind.eu. As the controller is established in Finland, the supervisory authority is the Finnish Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman. You may also contact the supervisory authority in your own country of residence.
